 When we have no capital and no technical skills, our resources and the strengths were just human beings who have built the miracle of the Han River, the world's fifth largest automobile producing country and the world's 1st mobile phones, flat-screen TV producing country after the devastation of the Japanese colonial era and the Korean War. There were many passions and sacrifices of business managing and working generations who retired. But all those efforts have been wasted as the tools of maintaining regimes and taking over the regimes. The sacrifices and the passions of those people were managed to fill the pockets of the establishment. Now Human resources are being wasted under the names of the welfare and the economic revitalization in this world where tax, corruption, global economic crisis and another competition like FTAs are preventing us from pulling through.

 

The people between 60's~70's who made the miracle are expelled from the work places because they are old under the name of retirement and youth unemployment. And people still abandon the facilities invested to work and rest all together at the same time. We know that the idle facilities can offer us with the precious opportunities, the turning point in the life. But we still confine ourselves to living in the bad 5-day workweek.

 

It's obvious that we'll face even more difficulties and trials. The most obvious way of overcoming the crisis in this uneasy reality and the crisis of capitalist society is to take full advantage of the current possessions like the invested facilities to improve the competitiveness and the productivities of the workers. But these methods are outdated in a way of labor exploitation without the word "sharing". The bad management without the "sharing" became the means of labor exploitations. It became hot issue in the saturated industry. So, we couldn't have an answer for applying the innovative management through "sharing" until now. Now, we are going to find the solution for the method, the "sharing management" through the 7-day economy system to overcome the inefficiencies of the 5-day workweek.

 

We can create efficiencies in the 4+3, 7-day economy system. The 4-day workers can work 2 hours early working 10 hours a day, 40 hours a week like the existing, and the idle facilities during the 3 days can be used for the jobs that accommodate those who are willing to work. Maybe those idle facilities can be hired inexpensively. We already have achieved improvement of the productivity and the reduction of working hours through automation. Working home has become possible due to the development of IT industry. We still have the skilled industrial workers between 50's ~ 60's who led the country to be an advanced country. And why don't we use these resources! If the existing workers intensively work 4 days a week, and take rest sufficiently for self-development for 3 days while the retirees who were the hope and the power of our past and who have their unyielding energies and the young job seekers work together sharing the hopes and the opportunities, the harmony of the new ideas of the young people and the experiences of the elderly people will make another miracle of 3 days.

 

A lot of people talk about the welfare and the human right, but I think the biggest welfare and the biggest human right is the job creation for the people who wish to work. We can execute the system right now in the most of the industrial facilities and the offices. It'll be the clear solution for the unemployment of young and old people and for the domestic economic recovery as well as the other current agendas like elderly welfare and the traffics, etc.

 

4+3, 7-day management system is so simple and natural. Then, why couldn't we find this theory earlier? Maybe it's because of the distrust and selfishness in the infinite competition of capitalism. Now we faced an advent of the sharing and the co-existence era. There are full of materials, people, and ideas. The competition without sharing spirits will be led to the waste. Korea in the crisis should create a new history through the sharing spirits. Now it's time to return to the spirit of Korean traditional humanitarianism.
