Besides those, I think there are many reasons for the reduction of the rice production. The aging of the rural society is the one. The rice production is not so lucrative with more laboring and other expenditures so the farmers started to grow special crops. People returning to the farm are increasing but they grow the special crops rather than the rice. The 4+3 day work system will help the rice production. We can intensively work 4 or 3 days a week and can return to the farm to grow the rice during the holidays thanks to the government support of the land and funding.

쌀 생산량이 줄어든 이유는 여러 가지 원인이 있다고 봅니다. 말씀하신 것들 외에도 농촌의 고령화로 일할 분들이 적어지고, 쌀 생산에 인건비나 들어가는 비용에 비해 수익이 없어서 특수 농업을 하는 농가가 늘어난 이유도 있습니다.

귀농, 귀촌하여 농사를 짓는 분들이 늘어나고 있지만 이들은 채소, 과수원 등 특수농을 위주로 하고 있습니다. 그러나 주4+3근무제를 하게 되면 쌀 생산량의 증가를 가져올 수 있습니다.

주 4일 또는 3일 집중근무하고, 3일 또는 4일 쉬는 날에는 농촌에 가서 쌀생산에 참가하는 정책을 권장하여 땅과 자금을 지원하여 주면 됩니다.
