Hong Heon-Ho, director of the Citizens Economic and Social Research Institute, mentioned 5 million jobs in case of 4-day workweek after implementation of the 4+3 day work system. And according to Maeil Business Newspaper published last October 10, 'the coming economic earthquake', 4 million jobs will be created when work hour is reduced to 1,750 hours a year (7 hours a week)

주 4일 근무만으로 창출되는 고용의 경우, ‘시민경제사회연구소’ 홍헌호 소장이 500만 명 일자리를 창출을 예상하였으며, 2012년 10월 10일 매일경제신문이 발간한 ‘다가오는 경제지진’에서는 우리나라 근로자들의 연간 근무시간을 기존 2,111시간에서 1,750시간(하루 약 7시간근무)으로 줄일 경우 400만 일자리 창출을 예상하고 있습니다. 4+3 7일경제의 경우 주 4일근무 뿐만 아니라 주 3일근무로 인해 창출되는 일자리가 있기때문에 더 많은 일자리 창출이 가능해 집니다.
