| Ssanyong Motor union suggests the company to acquire Fiat Auto for the union to work there in 3 days to produce Ssangyong cars and let Fiat workers work the other 4 days a week and stops the demonstrations. After one month, Ssangyong's headquarter achieves a dramatic compromise. Ssanyong union can work at Fiat factory 4 days a week under a condition of succession of Fiat employees to export Ssangyong cars to Korean market. And, the Fiat cars produced in 3 days are to be purchased within the country. The 4-3 management system is firstly implemented in Europe with the support of Italy and the IMF. |
이태리 피아트사를 쌍용측에서 인수하면 집회중인 쌍용노조원이 이태리로 넘어가 피아트 공장을 활용하여 4일은 쌍용차를 생산하고 3일은 현지 노동자가 피아트차를 생산하는 조건으로 협상을 해보라고 제안하고 집회를 철회한다. 한 달 후 쌍용 본사가 극적인 타협을 이룬다. 피아트사 직원을 고용승계하는 조건으로 4일 근무로 생산한 쌍용차는 한국으로 수출하고 3일동안 생산한 피아트차는 모두 자국에서 구매하는 조건으로 이태리와 IMF지원을 받아 4-3경영제를 유럽에서 최초로 도입하게 된다. |
